Dear Friends of the Family,

Greetings from American Family Forum!  We are a group of concerned professionals and local citizens endeavoring to promote a pro-family culture in Clay County.

Many Clay County voters have expressed a desire for more information before going to the polls about candidates’ positions on various issues and information about initiatives on the ballot.  To assist voters, the American Family Forum surveys political candidates on their positions regarding traditional family values and collects information from the proponents and opponents of the ballot initiatives.  We then supply voters with an easily accessible resource in a clear, unbiased fashion to learn about these positions and issues.  This information is made available in a printed “Voter Guide” on this website and is dispersed throughout the community to interested bookstores, individuals and churches.  In 2006 fifteen thousand voter guides were distributed to one hundred ten select churches.

The goal of American Family forum is voter education.  We do not endorse candidates.  Our letterhead and website identify the core values and the current issues affecting these values.  We reserve the right to ask any question of candidates which is of interest and value to the voters.  The candidate surveys cover nearly all of the issues before voters this election year.

We do need your help!  If you believe voter education is vital to a pro-family culture in Clay County, we welcome your participation.  We offer different levels of sponsorship.  These include several opportunities for you and/or your business to be listed as a “Friend of the Family” in the “Voter Guide”, on our website, on the radio and in the newspaper.  For more information, contact us at AFF@americanfamilyforum.org.

Many brave men and women have given their lives to secure and preserve for all Americans the privilege of voting.  Please join us and those who have gone before in standing for the American family.  We need your support.

With Highest Regard,

Beth West
